The expected version of the product was not found on the system error while installing sharepoint designer 2013 service pack 1

Last week we had a error when we tried lớn install the hot fix for Microsoft Security Bulletin MS14-022 – Critical at https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/ms14-022 on Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007 with SP3.

And the log file (opatchinstall.log at the %TEMP% folder) was presenting the following message:

Our environment had the correct version of the product to receive this path (SP3), but for some reason the dependency kiểm tra process of this HF fail.

To solve this issue, we had to lớn run the hot fix program with the parameter “PACKAGE.BYPASS.DETECTION.CHECK=1” to lớn bypass the dependency check. Bellow the sample for the commando line used:
